Though the world record for largest yoga class was set this week by Yoga at the Great Lawn, not much yoga was done before the event was shut down by a thunderstorm. Though some in attendance were frustrated by this turn of events, most seem glad to have participated and felt the enormity of the New York yoga community. The event’s organizer, Flavorpill, has promised to return to Central Park in September for a do-over: hopefully the weather will cooperate next time.
