One of the most interesting things about starting to do yoga is that you become very aware of your body’s asymmetries. This often becomes very apparent in cow face pose, where most people have a much easier time binding the hands behind their backs on one side than the other. When these types of imbalances reveal themselves, try to notice them without passing judgment. Over time, you may observe that your tighter side begins to catch up with your looser side.
